Rick Rehorn announced today that he is a candidate for District Court Judge in Wyandotte County, Kansas.  Rick Rehorn is in private practice at the law firm of Tomasic and Rehorn, and has a broad practice representing individuals and small businesses.

From 1999 through 2005 Rehorn balanced his private practice with his service as a Kansas State Representative from Wyandotte County’s 32nd District. While in the Kansas legislature Rick Rehorn was the ranking Democrat on the State and Federal Affairs committee and served on the Judiciary Committee. Rehorn ran for Mayor of the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas/Wyandotte County in 2005 and finished first in the primary.

Rick Rehorn is a 1984 graduate of the University of Kansas and a 1987 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law. Rehorn serves on the Convention and Tourism Board. He has filed for the position currently held by Judge George Groneman who will retire next year. Rehorn has a daughter, Grace Ann, 14, and lives in Rosedale.
